Context

Agro-industrial cooperative with about 2,400 member farmers and 260 administrative and industrial staff, with a significant share of revenue from customers exporting to Europe. Environmental practices existed in the field but were not systematically recorded.

Challenge

Key customers began requiring traceability data, an emissions inventory and supply chain conduct evidence, with a deadline for the next audit. The cooperative answered each request ad hoc and risked losing contracts.
